SpacerX Roof Spacer System
Bradford SpacerX Roof Spacer System is a patented roof spacer designed for concealed-fixed metal roof applications. Acting as a compact roof raiser, it elevates the cladding above the framing so roof blankets remain in position and maintain their nominal thickness, supporting the specified total roof system R-Value. The system installs with roof clips, fixed directly to the framing using three screws per assembly. Bradford SpacerX is available in four heights (40, 60, 80 and 120 mm) to suit Bradford Anticon® blankets and contribute to BCA-compliant performance. Suitable for non-cyclonic projects only.

SpacerX Roof Spacer System Range
Bradford SpacerX Roof Spacer System is available as bars and Start Blocks in four heights (40, 60, 80 and 120 mm) to suit common blanket insulation thicknesses. Each bar measures 700 mm in length.
Design notes
- Suitable for steel roof framing only
- Lightweight, compact packs with no cardboard packaging waste
SpacerX Bars
- 700 mm long, supplied in packs and pallets for efficient handling
- Fixed with three screws per bar (screws not included; use Class 3 or 4 fasteners in accordance with roof cladding manufacturer requirements)
SpacerX Start Blocks
- One Start Block required at the beginning of each run
- Fixed with two tek screws (e.g. 12-14 — 3032 mm)

Bradford SpacerX Roof Spacer System is designed for use on concealed-fixed (clip) metal roofs in commercial and industrial buildings where insulation blankets are specified. By raising the cladding above the framing, SpacerX helps insulation recover to its full thickness and contributes to achieving BCA total roof system R-Values.
Applications include:
- Commercial and industrial purlin roofs with concealed-fixed profiles
- Projects in non-cyclonic regions only, subject to structural engineer verification of roof framing capacities and load combinations
- Installations requiring accurate alignment with Start Blocks and self-aligning bars, without the need for clipping or locking
