Bradford Anticon® Antiglare Roofing Blanket Insulation

Bradford Anticon Antiglare roof insulation combines a high-performance roofing blanket with a low-glare semi-reflective foil, specifically designed for hot and humid regions to reduce vapour transmission into the roof space. Anticon Antiglare is installed with the foil facing outwards for easier installation in direct sunlight.

Ideal for new residential and commercial metal roof applications, as well as re-roofing projects in hot and humid climates, this Australian-made insulation provides excellent thermal performance, acoustic comfort, fire resistance, and condensation control.

When installed according to specifications, Anticon Antiglare is also suitable for bushfire-prone areas with BAL 12.5-40 ratings. This product is supported by CSR Bradford's expertise and warranty.

Features and Benefits

Bradford Anticon Antiglare features a special low-glare foil designed to be installed facing upward to reduce harsh reflections, protecting vision and improving working conditions on exposed work sites in hot and humid regions. Once in place, the blanket and foil work together to improve thermal performance and help manage condensation under metal roofing, while the non-combustible glasswool core adds reassurance for bushfire design requirements.

  • Under metal roofing where crews work in bright, high-glare conditions, including open sites and reflective surrounds in hot and humid regions
  • Projects in northern or sun-intense climates where reduced glare aids visibility and safety on site
  • New builds and re-roofing for residential, multi-residential and light commercial buildings
  • Bushfire-prone designs requiring BAL 12.5-40 when installed to specification.

Anticon must be installed during roof construction. If you're planning a new build or a major re-roofing project, timing your insulation decision is critical.

Ask your builder about including Bradford Anticon as early as possible, ideally by the Tender stage. Many standard building plans do not include anti-condensation or acoustic insulation, but upgrades can often be accommodated if requested early in the process.
