Bradford Thermoseal Light Duty Facing (729)
Due to its high reflective properties, Bradford Thermoseal Light Duty Facing acts as lightweight radiant barrier and with an associated air space of 20mm provides thermal insulation in domestic, industrial and commercial buildings, cold stores and cool rooms, and waterproof sarking in metal deck roofing where joist spacing is less than 900mm.
Thermoseal Light Duty Facing has a low water vapour transmission rate, and hence is an ideal vapour barrier against moisture penetration and is also used for facing bulk insulation for Glasswool and Fibertex Stonewool.
Thermoseal improves light diffusion and utilisation when used in an exposed internal roof lining. Thermoseal Light Duty Facing is ideal for those applications where tensile strength and impact resistance are of lesser importance.
Bradford Thermoseal Medium Duty Facing (730)
Bradford Thermoseal Medium Duty facing acts as a waterproof membrane and vapour barrier when installed beneath the primary roofing material, providing a secondary barrier against moisture, wind, heat, and dust penetration. Due to its high reflective properties, use of Thermoseal with an associated air space of 20mm provides thermal insulation in domestic, industrial and commercial buildings, cold stores and cool rooms.
Due to its unique construction and extremely low water vapour transmission rate, Thermoseal Medium Duty facing is an ideal vapour barrier for facing bulk insulation for Glasswool and Fibertex Stonewool and SPI pipe sections. It also improves light diffusion and utilisation when used as an exposed internal roof lining. Thermoseal Medium Duty is suitable for applications where high tensile strength and impact resistance is required.
Note: This product is also available as perforated and has an openness factor of 9%. It is not considered a vapour barrier.
Bradford Thermoseal Heavy Duty Facing (750)
Bradford Thermoseal Heavy Duty acts as a waterproof sarking when installed beneath the primary roofing material, providing a barrier against moisture, wind, heat, and dust penetration. Thermoseal's integral thermal insulation properties also contribute to keeping homes warmer in winter and cooler in summer.
Additionally, installation of Thermoseal Heavy Duty sarking will add to the overall thermal performance of the domestic, industrial and commercial buildings, cold stores and cool rooms when a clear airspace of at least 20mm or more is provided at the reflective side of the foil face. It improves light diffusion and utilisation when used as an exposed internal roof lining.
Due to its unique construction, Thermoseal Heavy Duty has a low water vapour transmission rate making it an excellent vapour barrier for facing bulk insulation and SPI pipe sections. An ideal reflective facing for Glasswool and Fibertex Stonewool, Thermoseal Heavy Duty is suitable for applications where high tensile strength and impact resistance is required.
Bradford Thermoseal Heavy Duty Perforated Facing (750PERF)
Bradford Thermoseal Heavy Duty Perforated Facing is a facing material suitable for adhesion to Glasswool or Stonewool insulation products where protection of the insulated surface is required whilst maintaining sound absorptive properties of the bulk insulation.
Typical applications for Thermoseal Heavy Duty Perforated facing include facing onto Glasswool and Fibertex air-conditioning internal ductliners.
Perforated foil protects the insulation whilst giving a bright smooth foil aesthetic functional use.
Note: This product is perforated and has an openness factor of 9%. It is not considered a vapour barrier.
